The Producer
Owned by Kyaw Hlaing, Moe Htet Estate spans 200 acres and is known locally as Sinoda. Alongside agronomists U Kyaw Wan He and Aung Hleing Phyo, the farm uses grafting techniques to improve plant resilience and cup quality—often combining SL34 with Robusta rootstock for greater disease resistance without compromising flavour.
The estate employs over 100 seasonal pickers and runs monthly workshops to share knowledge and support the local coffee community. With a focus on sustainable development and continuous refinement, Moe Htet is helping shape Myanmar’s growing reputation for quality coffee.
